Follow these steps to complete your enrollment at Colorado Nurse’s Aide School

Required Immediate Actions
1. Submit CNA Application: Log in to Medical Health Training
to submit your CNA application. See CNA Application from in the CURRICULUM SECTION
Username: Your email (Unless you created yourself)
Password: Your 10 digit phone number (Unless you created yourself)

Note: if the field is not applicable put N/A

2. Watch Orientation Video: See  CURRICULUM SECTION above

3. Nametag: Send a Selfie/Photo for your student ID badge to this email carolyn@medicalhealthtraining.com

4. Verification: Email your Photo ID – carolyn@medicalhealthtraining.com
(driver’s license, passport, etc). SSN send via WhatsApp 720-275-1891 or show in person or show on video call before attending your lab.

5. Begin your online courses now: Login to your account and study the lessons in the CURRICULUM section.
You are required to watch all videos, review the provided information, and complete the Chapters 1-10 and the Quizzes. See Website or Welcome Email for the due date.

Start watching the clinical videos and postmortem care video. After watching each topic,
enter the completion date under the “LAB” column on the Lab Clinical Competencies Checklist.

Download your Lab Clinical Competencies Checklist in your computer and fill it out as you watch each topic found in the clinical video and postmortem care video.

Note: Clinical videos and postmortem care video are not required for the final exam and won’t be on the test. But you need to watch them and email the filled out Lab Clinical Competencies Checklist during the last day of clinical.

6. Attend 1 Day Practical Lab (Pick 1 day only 7:30 am to 7:30 pm). See website or welcome email for the link to schedule.
Note: you don’t have to complete any online courses , TB test or vaccines before attending the lab.
Preparation: Watch all required NAPSA skills videos before attending your lab session.

Attire: Navy blue scrubs and comfortable slip-on shoes. Keep hair up and nails short.
What to Bring: Bring your lunch, water and snacks.

7. Medical Requirements: See website or welcome email for the due date.
TB Test: Complete a 2-step skin test immediately (takes 2 weeks), or provide a blood draw/chest X-ray.
Vaccines: Provide flu and COVID-19 status/records (waivers are available upon request).

8. To Do List for you.
See your your “To Do List” attached. Update it as you complete each task under the student remark.

9. Attend 1 Day Final Exams. See website or welcome email to for the link to schedule.
Before scheduling your exam, please make sure you have completed all the requirements listed above.
The final exam consists of two parts: a written portion and a skills portion.

For those who are taking the written exam for the first time, please ensure you study using the Final Exam Study Guide Version 1 which can be found in your CURRICULUM.

To help pass your skills exam, come in to our Open Lab to Practice dates – you can come in solo or with a classmate. See Class Schedules for Open Lab to Practice dates.

10. Passed Both Final Exams?
Read NAPSA & Credentia Sign Up – see Curriculum Section . Follow instructions carefully and use the password provided as much as possible.
Note: If this task becomes too complicated, please let my staff assist you with it to ensure it is completed correctly.

11. Attend 2 days Clinical:
After passing the final exams you will be invited to go to the clinical site via email
See Class Schedule on the website for the dates and time. See Welcome email or in your CURRICULUM for the Clinical Information.
Review the Clinical Student Orientation Information found in your CURRICULUM, including the PowerPoint presentation, prior to going at your clinical site.
We currently utilize two locations, you only need to select one for your clinical rotation.
If circumstances require you to change to the other location, please notify us immediately.

12. During clinical: Submit the following forms completely found in your CURRICULUM.
      a. Lab Clinical Competencies Checklist – To complete this you must watch all clinical videos and the post-mortem care video
      b. Colorado Nurses Aide School Expected Competencies.

13. Last day of Clinical rotation is the graduation day

Important information for STATE EXAMS

Online Written Exam:

• desktop, laptop, or Chromebook with a single monitor and plugged in to the outlet
• A private room with four walls (not glass)
• A full charged mobile device
• Strong Internet connection
• Wired Headset – only required for oral exams.
• Written has to be rescheduled 4 days prior to scheduled testing day
• Must provide two forms of ID one must be photo ID neither can be expired and must have a signature

State-issued identification card
US Passport
School-Issued Identification Card

military ID – NOT Accepted

Green card or permanent resident card – Not Accepted

• The name on your identification must be the same as the name you used on the application.

If your name is different, you MUST bring proof of your name change (a copy of an official document such as a marriage license or divorce decree) 

• Can  begin test 15 minutes prior or 14 minutes after scheduled time No sooner No Later 
• 70 multiple choice questions must get 80% 
• If you do not present yourself to scheduled testing time it will be counted as a no show/FAIL. Incorrect form of ID – you will be turned away and marked as failed. No refund will be issued.

Skills Exam:

• Skills has to be scheduled 7 days prior to scheduled testing day 
• Must provide two forms of ID one must be photo ID neither can be expired must have a signature on both forms of ID. See acceptable IDs above
• Arrive 30 minutes prior
• If you do not present yourself to scheduled testing time or if you arrive late  it will be counted as a no show/FAIL. No refund will be issued
• 3-5 skills 30 minutes total 
• Expect to be there all day
